SaM's iNdEpEnDeNt sTuDy is on SuGaR RuSh she chose to focus on the way in which the the audience interpret the text because she though that although its primarly aimed at females, a male audeince may also be interested. However they may watch it for different reasons for example while females take more intrest in the characters and whats goin on in there lives, a male audeince may be more interested in purley the woman and sex. She also like Bushara watches her chosen text and therefore finds it interesting to look further into.

Sam is looking at the representations of females and how the audience interpret teh text which overlaps into what I am looking at in Bad Girls.

BuShArA's iNdEpEnDeNt sTuDy is on the hit TV series “Sex in The City”. The reason why she choose this text is because not only did she enjoy watching it but she found that it represented women in an interesting way. Women’s roles and functions in society have always been overshadowed by men, but ‘Sex in the City’ represents women in a whole new light. The question which she chose to answer is “How are women represented in ‘Sex in the City’.

Bushara is looking at the representation of women in her text thus making it much similiar to mine.
